Guest Speakers: Kenny Hilaire
Topic: Change Management Towards More Inclusive and Socially Just Nonprofits

Kenny Hilaire lives in Halifax where he is the Manager of Canadian and Caribbean Operations for Prosci which is a leading global company in the area of change management. In this role, he leads the team that performs all operational functions for Prosci’s business in Canada and the Caribbean including program logistics, customer service and venue management. He completed his Global Social and Sustainable Enterprise MBA at Colorado State University and while there developed a social enterprise mode that supports youth economic opportunities in the Caribbean. He is currently on the Board of Directors of the Halifax United Way.
Moderated by Stephanie Clarke, co-chair of the NS Nonprofit COVID-19 Coalition, in this Open Forum Kenny will share his model of change management and explore how nonprofit leaders can apply it to move their organizations toward being more inclusive, equitable and diverse. Motivated by the Black Lives Matter Movement and Anti-Black and Indigenous racism Kenny’s personal commitment is to work with his community to make a meaningful difference and support our collective efforts to move toward social justice.
