December 1, 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

ICTC invites you to a WIL Digital Webinar, featuring employer and student testimonials.

About this Event

Calling all post-secondary institutions and employers involved in ICT-Digital fields – the Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC) has a webinar for you!

Ensuring students have a real-world work placement opportunity while completing their post-secondary education is an invaluable experience that builds a stronger pathway to employment after graduation. Work-placements are also beneficial – especially during these unprecedented times, to employers, including start-ups and SME’s in order to fulfill their talent pipeline for the future.

ICTC’s WIL Digital Wage Subsidy can help! WIL Digital is an innovative Work Integrated Learning program that helps employers grow their businesses by providing financial assistance for hiring post-secondary students. Subsidies of up to 75% of wages paid to a maximum of $7500 are available.

Join us and the WIL Digital Team Lead, Shaudae Murray on December 1st at 1pm EST to learn more about the importance of the WIL Digital Wage Subsidy! During this webinar we will also welcome a guest employer/student speaker duo: Brian Murray from Academic Edge Inc. and Mayar Tahina from Acadia University to share their experiences with the WIL Digital Program, and answer any questions you have!
