Doing Business in Boston Virtual Workshop
December 3, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Nova Scotia’s close connection with Boston dates back to December 6th, 1917, the day of what was then the largest man-made explosion the world had seen, the Halifax Explosion. Within hours, the community of Boston came to Nova Scotia’s aid.
As a token of our appreciation, Nova Scotia sends a locally grown Christmas tree to Boston each year. More than just a show of gratitude, the Nova Scotia Tree for Boston is a symbol of friendship and hope between neighbors and trading partners with a long history of shared economic success.
This year, the annual tree lighting ceremony will be celebrated virtually on ABC Boston WCVB. Leading up to the broadcast, we welcome you to join us for a free, virtual workshop as we discuss Doing Business in Boston. Hear from Boston-based Trade Commissioners on the current economic landscape—including the impacts of COVID-19, Nova Scotia companies that have found success in the market, and what it’s like to work with Boston businesses.
The annual tree lighting ceremony is a chance for us to give thanks and celebrate our history with the people of Boston. It’s also a time to foster our relationship for future trade and business between our two regions.
Register today to learn more about the opportunities in doing business with or in Boston, and celebrate the unique history of shared support and economic success
