Canning’s Main Street Community Open House

November 3, 2020 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

FBM’s Planning Studio is working with the Canning Area Business Development Association (CABDA), the Village of Canning, and the Valley Regional Enterprise Network to explore the possibilities for Canning’s Main Street area. At this community event, we want to find out more about your ideas for how to make a great Main Street in Canning, with considerations for safety, accessibility, promoting local business, and fostering unique places for the community.
This event is part of a series hosted by FBM and the Nova Scotia Federation of Municipalities as part of the Nova Scotia Main Streets Initiative. The Nova Scotia Main Streets initiative is working to identify approaches and implementation methods for improving Main Streets in rural communities across the province. We will use your ideas and feedback to help develop this work. For more information on the partners involved and to download the Nova Scotia Main Streets Community Workbook visit: nsfm.ca/main-streets.
