The Valley Regional Enterprise Network has established the Annapolis Valley Regional Economic Recovery Taskforce in partnership with regional municipalities, organizations, and stakeholders. 

The Regional Economic Recovery Taskforce and Response Teams have been created to work together collaboratively to assist Annapolis Valley businesses to recover from the economic impact of the COVID19 pandemic. The Taskforce and Response Teams will work together with the Municipal, Provincial and Federal governments to create opportunities to support the Annapolis Valley economy.

Nova Scotia: Regional Relief and Recovery Fund (RRRF)
The Government of Canada and Community Business Development Corporations (CBDCs) understand the difficulties COVID-19 has caused the small business community throughout the Atlantic region. As a result, the Government of Canada has made funds available to the CBDCs to provide support and assistance to SMEs through the Regional Relief and Recovery Fund (RRRF).

MEMBERSHIP

tASKFORCE Mandate

This Task Force will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of response and recovery efforts to our support businesses and reinvigorate our regional economy.

Recovery Taskforce and Response Teams will:

1. Provide support and services to help Annapolis Valley businesses respond to the immediate economic impact of COVID-19

2. Guide the development of an economic recovery plan that will leverage industry expertise and be used to re-energize the Annapolis Valley economy, retain the business base and support employers and workers in getting people back to work as soon as possible.
