There are multiple sources of information relevant to businesses and entrepreneurs as COVID-19 continues to grow and impact the country and our economy. The Valley REN team has compiled a list below of relevant sources that you may wish to review.
Following the completion of our initial survey (results can be found here), we have created a second survey to gain an understanding of how businesses are accessing the various support programs released by the federal and provincial governments and to identify remaining gaps.

Nova Scotia: Regional Relief and Recovery Fund (RRRF)
The Government of Canada and Community Business Development Corporations (CBDCs) understand the difficulties COVID-19 has caused the small business community throughout the Atlantic region. As a result, the Government of Canada has made funds available to the CBDCs to provide support and assistance to SMEs through the Regional Relief and Recovery Fund (RRRF).
Small Business Reopening Support Grant - Applications open June 1
The program helps small businesses affected by COVID-19 by providing a grant and a business continuity voucher for advice and services from a business consultant. Funding includes a one-time grant of up to $5,000 to help your business safely reopen and a business continuity voucher of up to $1,500 for advice and services to help your business adapt to and become more resilient in a COVID-19 world
